DUKE寶貝於2023/3/15在照護員姊姊陪伴下

離開病痛的身軀

阿DU寶貝~再見~

Duke前飼主把他圈養在沒有足夠遮風避雨的菜園，

被路過的民眾通報防疫所不當飼養，查證後沒入而輾轉來到犬山居。

不知在多少次風雨中發抖受苦的Duke，並沒有失去他親人撒嬌的好個性；
Duke最貪吃了，每到放飯時間總是黏踢踢的跟著照護員們，有時還迫不及待來個飛撲！

在犬山居待了好多年....從年輕的孩子變成老狗狗了

但是....親人的Duke還在等待幸福新家喔！2022年4月Duke動完了髖關節膝關節手術

他非常堅強喔！手術完回園區後我們用介護帶、狗輪椅來輔助他的活動、還有上廁所。

也因為兩邊都有傷口，所以我們時常幫他更換看護墊，定時翻身。

傷口不包紮但保持乾淨乾燥，醫生給了他嗎啡貼片，他也都乖乖吃藥、

回診並讓我們拉動腳進行復健，每天熱敷、復健都很乖巧~~~

現在已回到平日開心搖尾巴活潑親人的樣子了～

Duke, who was quite a unique one. He didn’t even have a home to live in. He was staying in a poor and dirty farm where is no love to found. His owner was reported for improper feeding by strangers who walk past the farm, and Duke got transferred to the TCASA. Even though it may seems to be his rock bottom, his kind heart never disappeared.

  Duke is a greedy dog, he would sometimes jump on peoples' body when it comes to food. He has been with the TCASA for quite a while now and he is old already, also he had surgery in April of 2022 for his right knee. However he is recovering fast and now he is just waiting for a family to take him home!
